Deloitte’s U.S. Transfer Pricing Group is seeking new and experienced graduates with a Ph.D. in economics, finance, and related fields to join our practice at the locations listed above.
Transfer pricing is a multidisciplinary field that integrates economics, business, legal, and tax principles in the evaluation of intercompany transactions, typically involving two or more entities belonging to a common multinational corporation. Deloitte’s U.S. Transfer Pricing Group provides candidates with an intellectually stimulating work environment and the opportunity to interact with over 45 Ph.D. economists across the United States while serving some of the world’s largest, most well-known companies.
Deloitte’s U.S. Transfer Pricing Group is part of the company’s Global Transfer Pricing practice, which is an international, client-facing practice that provides opportunities to work with global Deloitte and client teams on international engagements. Economists within Transfer Pricing develop a rich set of skills that combine the rigor of empirical and theoretical economic analysis with the energy of a global consultancy practice. Economists within Transfer Pricing have the opportunity to apply their expertise to generate creative solutions to complex economic problems that multinational enterprises face. Transfer Pricing is a growing and dynamic field, which provides unique opportunities for our economists to work on new and interesting problems in a collaborative and supportive environment. Successful candidates will work with a group of colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, including other Ph.D. economists, tax attorneys, audit and accounting specialists, and business professionals.
No prior Transfer Pricing or consulting experience is required, and candidates from all fields of research are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be excited to learn about a new field, work in a team-oriented environment, develop consultancy skills, learn the details of companies’ business and operating models and value drivers, and generally apply their expertise in economics to real-world issues facing multinational corporations.
