Full Text of JOE Listing:
We seek a full-time, Tenure-Track, Assistant/Associate Professor in the School of Business, Government, and Economics.
Responsibilities:
Regular nine-month load of about 33 quarter credits includes undergraduate and graduate courses in principles of economics, intermediate theory, econometrics/quantitative methods, and applied economics electives (summer teaching possible).
Establish and maintain an active program of scholarship.
Advise undergraduates.
Collaborate with undergraduate students through TA program and on research programs.

Requirements:
PhD in Economics by Aug 2022 (ABD will be considered).
Excellent teacher, committed to undergraduate Economics instruction and curriculum development (both content and methods).
Experience teaching principles and intermediate economic theory, econometrics or quantitative methods.
Strong commitment to the liberal arts and the ability to integrate Christian values into their teaching.
Commitment to high quality research-informed teaching.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applied research interests related to environmental, econometrics, health, behavioral, or related fields (all fields considered).
Interest/experience with the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME), the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Interest in the potential for collaborative research with undergraduates.
Interest/experience in curriculum design and innovation at the program level.
Interest in supporting/participating in the TA program for Economics majors.
Experience with diverse populations and/or issues in equity.
