The Department of Economics at the University of Connecticut invites applications for a non-tenure-track Research and Teaching Scholar (Assistant Research Professor) to work in the area of Economic and Health Inequality with an emphasis on COVID-19 related research. The initial appointment is for one-year with the possibility of renewal for a second year and requires teaching one course each year. There will also be time available for pursuing independent research or projects with the numerous other scholars in the Economics Department who work at the intersected areas of Economic Inequality and Health Inequality. The Assistant Research Professor will also participate in a related weekly research seminar.
