Davidson College is requiring new employees hired into jobs posted after August 1, 2021, and all employees with a start date on or later than September 1, 2021, to be vaccinated to help protect the health and safety of our community. The Davidson College Department of Economics invites applications for two, one-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions beginning on July 1, 2022. Applicants must be able to teach Introductory Economics, Intermediate Microeconomics, and Applied Microeconomics electives. Field specialization may include Industrial Organization, Economics of Education, Economics of Poverty, Health Economics, or other areas of applied microeconomics.

The teaching load is five courses over two semesters. All instruction is expected to be in person. Previous teaching experience and demonstrated teaching ability are desired. Ph.D. should be in hand by July 1, 2022.
