The Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) invites applications for a visiting professorship in finance. The appointment runs from a minimum of six months up to a full academic year (September 2022–June 2023) and includes a half-time teaching position (two ten-week undergraduate courses in the Business, Economics and Management curriculum) at Caltech. The position is open to applicants from all fields of finance and those in economics with some experience teaching or research in finance areas. Interested candidates should have demonstrated superb teaching and research skills. All applicants must currently hold a Ph.D. and a full-time tenured or tenure-track appointment at another university. The visiting appointment at Caltech will be made at a comparable rank to what the selected applicant holds at their home institution.
