The Department of Economics in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business at Elon University invites applications for a continuing faculty position at the rank of Lecturer in August 2022. This is a non-tenure track position with a primary responsibility of teaching. Following a successful continuance review in the fourth year, lecturers are eligible to apply for promotion to Senior Lecturer in their sixth year. Applicants must have a M.A. or higher. We seek candidates with a passion for teaching and mentoring undergraduates, who have an established record of excellent teaching, especially at the introductory level.

Primary teaching responsibilities will include principles of economics, with additional opportunities to teach economics electives and interdisciplinary courses in Elon’s Core Curriculum. While the standard teaching load is 7 courses per year, lecture-track faculty are eligible for regular course reductions available to all faculty.
