Department of Economics invites applications for a teaching faculty position beginning August 2022. This appointment requires Ph.D. in Economics prior to start of appointment. Applicants must have demonstrated expertise in: software programs R and Stata and can teach them at the graduate level; inequality in education, state data including labor market and interest rates-prefer Wisconsin state experience; state corporate tax structures; social security and medicaid policy issues and forecasting economies-prefer US and Wisconsin economies. Successful candidate will develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in field of research specialization; supervise graduate student thesis activities as a recognized scholar in the field and share in development of department programs and serve on departmental committees as needed.
