The Economics and Econometrics stream within the Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics. Candidates must hold a PhD in Economics or be near completion, and demonstrate potential of excellence in teaching and research in macroeconomic theory. Preference will be given to candidates specializing in monetary economics. Responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate teaching theory in one or more delivery modes, PhD examination in core macroeconomic theory, graduate supervision, a productive research program, and service-related activities.
The appointment may begin on or after July 1, 2022. The salary for the position will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the chosen candidate.
The Economics Department is a research-intensive environment with 580 undergraduate majors, and active MA and PhD programs.
