Position Title/Short Description

Ripon College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor beginning August 2022. The teaching load is three four-credit courses per semester.

Required Qualifications
-Doctorate in economics or another relevant field, or ABD
-Ability to teach a variety of courses in microeconomics, mathematical methods, and business management
-Willingness to contribute courses in our Catalyst core curriculum
-Clear research agenda
-Strong commitment to teaching excellence

Preferred Qualifications
-Effectiveness in teaching in fields of microeconomics and business management such as:
o Industrial organization
o Strategic management
o Game theory
o Entrepreneurship and innovation
o Applied microeconomics
o Mathematical methods
-Significant business experience
-Experience working in multicultural environments and interest in developing curricula related to diverse populations
-Willingness to develop courses building on established curricula
-Commitment to undergraduate advising
