The Department of Economics invites applications for one or more one-year visiting assistant professor positions starting August 2022. There is a possibility of renewal for a second year. The department will consider applicants from all fields.

This position carries a 3-2 teaching load. All full-time appointments offer very competitive salaries and include full benefits. Outstanding teaching ability and enthusiasm for teaching in a liberal arts environment are essential. Some teaching experience is desirable.

All requirements for the Ph.D. must be completed by August 2022. Your application should include a cover letter, vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, three letters of reference, and a brief diversity statement describing your past efforts as well as your future plans to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in your teaching (250-500 words).
