Bring your know-how in economic and natural resource analysis to provide leadership and expert counsel to better understand issues and priorities and develop and implement more effective Department policies and actions.
Natural resource economics focuses on the supply, demand, and allocation of natural resources.
Examining the role of conservation and natural resource management from an economic perspective will help WDFW address the connections and interdependence between human economies and natural ecosystems and strive for win-win solutions.
This is an opportunity,
To develop and support a portfolio of natural resource economics projects. This position develops research to support WDFW decision-making needs by using cutting edge economic analysis and research methods.

You will serve the Department’s mission to preserve, protect, perpetuate, and manage fish and wildlife which is inextricably tied to conducting this work to benefit Washingtonians and to involve them in Department decision making.
