Pitzer College invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor in Economics to begin in academic year 2023-24. We are interested in applicants who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and research and who specialize in one or more of the following fields: behavioral economics; environmental or ecological economics; economic development; health economics; public economics; urban, rural or regional economics; labor economics; and/or education economics. Ph.D. by August 2023 is expected. The teaching load is five courses per year over two semesters and requires teaching one course in Microeconomic Theory each semester.
