The Golub Capital Social Impact Lab of the Stanford Graduate School of Business seeks a Research Director (RD). The RD will lead and oversee research related to the mission of the Lab and ensure the research is disseminated widely to both academic and general audiences. This includes defining, prioritizing, and managing research projects; recruiting faculty, students and writers to contribute to the research agenda; managing and carrying out the research; writing, presenting and publicizing research and related thought leadership. The RD also supports the writing of grant proposals around research projects and all organizational duties associated with achieving these objectives.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of social science research and apply state of the art methodologies to solve pressing social impact challenges spanning domain areas such as charitable giving, education, democracy, and worker training. You will also be in the intersection of academia and industry through partnerships with social sector organizations and technology companies.
This position can be hybrid (with a minimum of two days per week on site) or remote. This is a two-year fixed term position.
