RTI’s Center for Applied Economics & Strategy (CAES) is a team of more than 40 economists and social science researchers conducting evidence-based assessments in innovation economics, science and technology policy, health innovation, environmental and natural resource economics, energy efficiency, climate policy and land use, food and agriculture, and economic development.
CAES has an immediate opening for an applied economist or policy analyst to support our work and growing portfolio of projects addressing innovation support and science policy, innovation ecosystem analysis, technology commercialization, and research and development, across a wide range of domains.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a broad interest in innovation in a wide range of sectors and possess strong analytical and communication skills to apply to a portfolio of grant- and contract-funded projects. Skillsets and approaches frequently employed on these projects include econometric analysis, benefit-cost analysis, network analysis, program evaluation, and literature review.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ph.D in economics, public policy, business administration, or related social science field or a master’s with 5 years of related experience.
• The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and must not now or in the future require sponsorship.
