Research Economist
The Research Economist is a senior-level position. Primary responsibilities are to perform analysis related to real estate, urban, and rural economics for the State of Texas, to produce reports based on the findings, and to disseminate those findings through articles and presentations.
Required doctorate in economics, finance, real estate, or related program, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six years of applied economic analysis in housing or commercial real estate economics. Ten years of applied economic analysis in housing or commercial real estate economics, with industry experience preferred.
Note: This is a Non-Tenure position. There are no teaching assignments.
