The Department of Economics (https://www.lsu.edu/business/economics/) invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2023. Applicants should have strong research skills in state-of the-art methods in applied econometrics, and expertise in one of the fields listed in the JEL classifications above. The first position is in Health Economics. The second position is in Labor Economics, Public Economics, or Law and Economics.

New and prospective PhDs, as well as senior Assistant Professors are encouraged to apply. ABD candidates will be considered but they should receive their Ph.D. in Economics by August 2023.Applicants must have a strong research record or promise for development of a solid research agenda. The Department has strong research orientation, and offers B.A., B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, copies of selected research papers, and graduate transcripts. Applicants should also arrange for three recommendation letters to be submitted.
