Social and Behavioral Sciences Fellow (STTA)

Democracy International (DI) is seeking to hire a Social and Behavioral Sciences Graduate Fellow (STTA) to support the integration of behavioral insights into the design, implementation, and evaluation of DI’s international development, democratization, and peacebuilding programs. The Fellow will work closely with DI’s Technical Specialist in Social and Behavioral Science.
The successful candidate will lead desk research projects, collaborate with international DI partners to integrate social and behavioral sciences into programming, and present their work to internal and external audiences. Applicants may choose to work remotely or in-office on a hybrid schedule.
• Period of performance – approx. Sept 19 - May 12
• Level of Effort – Minimum of 81 days, maximum 162 days
• Rate – Starting at $128/day (depending on experience)
As a Federal Contractor, DI must comply with the President's Executive Order 14042 and the follow-on guidance issued by Safer Federal Workforce Task Force on COVID-19 Workplace Safety. Therefore, all US-based DI employees, including remote employees, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 .
