The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position.
This search is an open-field search within the fields covered by the Department, which includes agricultural and natural resource economics in developed and developing countries, environmental economics, international trade, development, applied econometrics and data sciences, applied theory, public finance, labor and industrial organization, among others. We are especially interested in applicants who are able to make research and teaching contributions in the areas of natural resources and empirical methods (applied econometrics, data sciences). We are looking for candidates who are able to take advantage of our location in the Rausser College of Natural Resources, with excellent faculty in complementary disciplines.
We seek candidates with a strong interest in teaching and advising at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and who show evidence of high productivity in research.
