Genesee Community College has an opening for an Instructor of Economics, expected to start during the Spring 2023 semester. This position will teach economics classes (mostly Micro and Macro Economics) at all Genesee Community College locations and offerings as needed. Collaborate and provide leadership in the development, review, assessment and maintenance of courses, programs, and general education of the college. Assist in recruitment, retention, and graduation of students and in other college and divisional efforts. Participate actively in the academic life of the institution. A Master’s degree in Economics or economics-related field such as Business, Finance or Accounting, with 18 graduate hours in Economics required. Experience teaching Micro and/or Macro Economics courses is required. Community college teaching experience preferred. Familiarity with computer-assisted/multimedia instruction and distance learning (such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Brightspace) is preferred
