Assistant Professor, Economics
Position Summary:
The Department of Business in the College of Liberal Arts at Rollins College is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in Economics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2023. The Department of Business has a strong collaborative and innovative environment.
The position includes teaching the undergraduate required Micro and Macro Economics course in the Department of Business. The normal teaching load will be the equivalent of six courses a year, typically three courses per semester. The ability to teach other core and elective courses in areas such as Finance, Investments, Statistics, International Business, and Management is highly desirable.
Rollins College is committed to liberal education and expects all faculty to contribute to the general education programs of the college.
Minimum Qualifications and Education:
PhD degree in Economics or Finance or a closely related discipline, ABD will be considered.
Experience teaching at undergraduate college level.
Ability to publish academic articles.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
