The Department of Agricultural Economics is seeking a self-directed, academic year tenure-track faculty member to develop an internationally recognized program of scholarly research, teaching, and outreach in agricultural finance.
The successful candidate will develop a high-quality scholarly research program in agricultural finance. The candidate is expected to publish in high-impact peer reviewed journals, to mentor graduate students, and to secure external grant funding.
Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate courses with a typical course load being two to three courses per year. Potential exists for teaching distance courses.
The successful candidate is expected to have a Ph.D. in agricultural economics, finance, business management, economics, or another closely related field. This is a 9-month, academic year appointment.
