Berry College's AACSB-accredited Campbell School of Business invites applications for one or more tenure-track faculty positions in Economics to begin August 2023. Women and other candidates from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

We seek a colleague who demonstrates aptitude and enthusiasm for innovative teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts environment. We especially value colleagues who want to mentor independent undergraduate research. Teaching responsibilities include introductory courses along with upper-level courses in support of finance and economics majors in areas such as money and banking, housing or urban economics, risk and insurance, development economics, economic history, or quantitative methods.

In addition to teaching, faculty are expected to publish original research so all faculty members at Berry have access to a wide range of professional development opportunities, including summer research grants, support for conference travel, and teaching workshops and seminars.

Faculty at Berry are also expected to be engaged in department and college activities and to contribute to the vitality of campus and professional communities.

Requirements:

Candidates should have an earned doctorate or be ABD in Economics (with degree completion expected before August 2023), show evidence of teaching success in undergraduate courses and a promising research agenda.

Applicants should provide a letter expressing their qualifications and interest in the position, a CV, unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts, complete teaching evaluations, a statement of teaching philosophy, a research sample, a statement of experience with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and three names of references. Materials should be submitted at http://berry.interviewexchange.com. Review of applications will begin October 20 and continue until the position is filled.
