The Economics Department of Reed College invites applications from economists who are strongly committed to undergraduate teaching for two tenure-track positions, at the assistant or associate level, to begin in the fall of 2023. Appointed faculty will teach five one-semester courses, including both advanced undergraduate courses in their fields and core courses. The ability to teach undergraduate courses in either international trade or finance is desirable for one of the positions. Faculty also advise several year-long senior thesis projects each year.
Individuals interested in this position should send a detailed letter of application describing both your interest in teaching and the courses you would most like to teach in an undergraduate liberal arts college. In addition, please send a curriculum vitae, teaching evaluations, a recent research paper, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted.
