The School of Economics at Henan University invites applicants for several full-time post-doctoral research positions in all areas of economics starting in fall 2023. We are especially in need of macro- and microeconomists. Contracts will cover a duration of 3 years with the possibility to be extended. Furthermore, postdoctoral researchers can be promoted to faculty members based on performance.

Candidates must have received their PhD in economics from a leading university in recent three years. Preference will be given to candidates with a record or demonstrated potential to conduct high-quality research.

Henan University provides excellent research conditions with a low teaching load in its undergraduate or graduate programs (teaching language: English). Salaries (including research funds and housing subsidies) are competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

The School of Economics at Henan University has three locations in China, its primary location is in Kaifeng with two campuses, a third full campus is located in Zhengzhou, and a smaller base in Shenzhen.
