School of Statistics is one of the most influential schools in SWUFE with 4 departments including Statistics, Economic Statistics, Data Science and Quantitative Economics. The main reaching group of econometrics is inside Institute of Quantitative Economics, which is an influential research team in econometrics and in charge of different level of econometrics courses all over the university.

In recent years, the School of Statistics at SWUFE has attracted more than 30 young Ph.D to join, from Purdue University, Imperial College London, National University of Singapore, Hong Kong University etc. We are recruiting new faculty members from Ph.D graduate, majors in but not limit to: Statistics, Econometrics, Economic big data.
