Johns Hopkins University seeks a visionary leader for the position of Program Director for the MS in Applied Economics within the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences’ Advanced Academic Programs Division. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Graduate and Professional Programs, the Program Director will sustain the excellence of the program, will foster and lead ongoing innovation in the curriculum, and will pursue efficiency and excellence in support of the program’s faculty and students. The Program Director oversees the curriculum, students, and faculty and must be an entrepreneurial and visionary leader who embraces the latest technology, science, and policy trends. The Applied Economics program is one of the largest in AAP’s suite of professional master’s degree programs, with more than 700 students.
The Program Director is a full-time, non-tenure-track, 12-month renewable faculty position with the academic title of Senior Lecturer. The duties of the Program Director position include teaching 4 graduate courses per year; advising; and academic program leadership.
