The Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College of New Jersey is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics to start on August 30, 2023. Teaching/research interest in public economics, health economics, econometrics, and/or sports economics preferred.

The Anisfield School of Business is home to the Eastern Economic Association (https://www.ramapo.edu/eea/), which is one of the four major economic associations in the United States. The EEA hosts an annual conference of over 1,000 economists from around the world and publishes the Eastern Economic Journal.

Teach a flexible combination of required and elective Economics courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Ability to publish discipline-relevant research in peer-reviewed journals (Note: faculty members are expected to maintain academic qualifications consistent with AACSB standards for scholarship and intellectual contributions). Participate in service, College governance, and student advisement.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidates for the position should have a Ph.D. in Economics. ABD with an imminent completion date will be considered; however, those candidates should include a letter from their advisor that specifies an anticipated date of defense.
