The Institute of Financial Studies:
The IFS at SWUFE was established by Professor Philip H. Dybvig, the Founding Dean of the Institute, in 2010. We aspire to the highest level of financial research. We now have eleven research-active assistant professors. One highlight of our commitment to research is a summer program that brings in top scholars to help the local scholars, a light teaching load, and compensation with substantial incentive pay for research success.
Compensation for new PhDs includes base salary and incentive pay based on publication success, a start-up research grant, housing allowance, and other fringe benefits.
