The D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University is seeking exceptional senior scholars for open endowed chair positions in Accounting (Joseph M. Golemme Chair), Finance (Philip R. McDonald), and Entrepreneurship/Innovation (Daniel J. McCarthy Distinguished Chair). Appointments will be made at the tenured full professor level.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in information and data security, technological innovation, fintech and quantitative finance/accounting, applications of artificial intelligence/machine learning/natural language processing in accounting and finance, analysis of large and non-traditional data sets, digital assets and currencies and associated technologies, technology-enabled financial liberalization, and technological innovation. Joint appointments and/or affiliations with other colleges and institutes at Northeastern University are encouraged and will be considered as appropriate. There is also the possibility of affiliations or appointments at other campuses within the Northeastern network, including Northeastern University – London, England, and Mills College at Northeastern, Oakland, California.

Candidates must be outstanding scholars with international reputation for excellence in research, teaching, and service, along with clear indications of continued research success. We are especially interested in individuals who value collegiality, are effective mentors of junior colleagues, and whose research would complement and extend the interests of our existing faculty. Candidates must hold a doctorate in Accounting, Finance, Management, Entrepreneurship/Innovation, or a closely related field by the appointment start date. Candidates must have a background in or commitment to working with diverse student populations and/or in culturally diverse work and educational environments.
