The School of Economics and Business at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana invites applications for academic positions at the assistant professor level. We welcome motivated candidates in any field of economics and finance. Applicants should have completed all Ph.D. requirements by mid-August 2023.

The Pontificia Universidad Javeriana has been consistently ranked as the best in Colombia by Times Higher Education. The School of Economics and Business has three departments: Economics, Business, and Accounting. We provide generous incentives for publication, research funds, and the possibility to hire junior research assistants. Accepted candidates usually teach one core undergraduate course and one graduate course in their field per semester. Classes are offered in both Spanish and English; we encourage non-Spanish speakers to apply.
