The FSU Economics Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join the Department in Fall 2023. The ideal candidate would produce frontier research at the intersection of macroeconomics and at least one other area of Department strength such as applied economics, experimental / behavioral economics, health economics, and theory. Candidates with such intersectional interests are especially encouraged to apply, although applicants with expertise in macroeconomics and / or fields pertinent to teaching core PhD macroeconomics will also be considered.

The successful candidate must show evidence of the potential to produce internationally recognized research (at the Assistant level) or have a strong track record of scholarship (at the advanced Assistant level). They will also be expected to fulfill usual teaching and service responsibilities. Completion of requirements for the PhD before the date of hire is expected.
