Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Economics at the State University of New York at Oneonta invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2023.
Duties include; Teaching undergraduate introductory economics, intermediate economics, and electives in economics; conducting research leading to publications in refereed academic journals; advising undergraduate student research in the capstone course; providing college service; participating in program development and assessment; engaging in continuing professional development. The successful candidate is expected to possess a strong interest in high quality teaching and research advisement at the undergraduate level.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in Economics (ABD considered) with a primary field of specialization in financial economics, public economics, health economics, education economics, labor economics, or environmental economics.
- Demonstrable teaching ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Ability to perform duties listed in the ad.
-Experience in teaching, mentoring, research, or service with diverse and/or multicultural populations.
