The School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in the City of New York invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track, renewable position of Lecturer in Discipline, to begin July 1, 2023, in the field of Economics.

The successful candidate will be qualified to teach a required intermediate-level courses in economics for students in demanding two-year Master's degree programs in international and public affairs. The primary emphasis is on teaching excellence. Secondary to this, the candidate will also engage with other SIPA and Columbia faculty or policymakers to address one of its new global policy challenges: democratic resilience; technology and innovation; geopolitics; inclusive prosperity & macroeconomic stability; climate and sustainable development.

Ph.D. required at the time of appointment. Candidates must have demonstrated record of accomplishment in teaching and in an appropriate field of research. Research interests should be policy-relevant.
