Description
The Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) Program in the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University invites applications for a full-time Professor of the Practice (open rank) in Applied International Economics for a three-year, renewable term.

The successful candidate will have experience working in applied international economics in government, international organizations, think tanks, universities or the private sector; have potential for teaching in the field of applied international economics; and a Ph.D. in a relevant field.

The instructional load is four semester-long master's levels courses per academic year, including the required International Economics course and Statistics course in the MSFS program, as well as two elective courses.

Alongside teaching, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the curriculum in Applied International Economics and Statistics in the MSFS program. Depending on the scope of this responsibility, the teaching load may be reduced to three courses a year.

Finally, the incumbent is encouraged to be an active member of the academic community at Georgetown University.
