RTI International's Health Practice Area is seeking senior and mid-level researchers with interests in health and public health economics, healthcare financing, and health services research. As a Research Economist, you will provide cutting-edge analyses of innovative health policies. Using large healthcare datasets, you will design and evaluate policies related to public health; health care insurance, payment, and delivery models; managed care; health care financing, costs, utilization, and quality; health insurance coverage and access; prescription drugs; and risk and casemix adjustment through statistical policy analysis (see: https://www.rti.org/practice-area/health).

Senior staff will lead projects, contribute to and lead proposals to funding entities, and publish and present on findings for scientific audiences. Mid-level staff will support senior staff and work independently.

Opportunities exist for new and experienced Ph.D.’s and M.A.s, and economists and policy analysts with relevant experience in academia, government, industry, or consulting.
