The Economics Area at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore seeks to recruit candidates at all levels who have strong research potential/credentials.

Candidates applying at the Assistant Professor level should demonstrate potential in research and teaching. Candidates applying at the Associate Professor/Professor level must have a strong research record with publications in leading journals and should have demonstrated academic leadership.

IIM Bangalore strongly encourages applications from women and reserved category candidates. The Institute follows the Reservation Policy of the Government of India for candidates belonging to OBC (Other Backward Classes), SC/ST (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe), EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), and PwD (Persons with Disability).
