The Bren School invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor (tenure track), to start July 1, 2023. We seek an environmental data scientist with demonstrated excellence in data science tools and techniques, superlative teaching skills, and experience in environmental science and/or management (https://apptrkr.com/3653322).

An Assistant Teaching Professor is a tenure-track faculty member whose primary responsibilities are pedagogical innovation, teaching and advising, and academic program development. Secondary responsibilities include professional and/or scholarly achievement and activities, especially as they relate to instruction and pedagogy, as well as University and public service. This position is primarily responsible for courses and program development in the School's Master of Environmental Data Science (MEDS) program: (https://bren.ucsb.edu/masters-programs/master-environmental-data-science). The position also may include some teaching in the School's Master of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) program.
