Full Text of JOE Listing:
Bank of Korea is seeking economists to conduct research in the above-listed fields. Those selected will be expected to conduct mainly policy-oriented research while also carrying out other central bank-related duties.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in economics or a related field from any university, together with strong written communication skills. All candidates should be fluent in both written and spoken Korean.
Salary and position are commensurate with the economist’s background and experience.
Applicants will be required to complete the degree by the end of September 2023.
