Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Financial Stability Oversight Council at the U.S. Treasury is hiring for Policy Analysts. The FSOC is looking to recruit ambitious professionals who will help advance the Council’s work on a range of critical financial stability issues. The Policy Analyst will play an integral role in advancing the Council’s key policy workstreams, ranging from nonbank financial intermediation, to climate-related financial risk, to digital assets. The position will involve broad exposure to financial and market analysis, project and stakeholder management, analytical research, and support on briefings for senior members of the government. S/he will work alongside a team of policy advisors, analysts, and economists. The ideal candidate should have a track record of developing financial stability, economic, or financial analysis, excellent written and analytical skills, and ideally experience with project management. Please refer to the specific GS level qualifications for the requisite specialized experience. Collaboration with staff from multiple government agencies, and working with a broad range of stakeholders, will be a key component of the role. Note this is a permanent position in the federal government.
