The Center of Applications of Mathematics and Statistics to Economics (CAMSE) of the economics department at UC Berkeley invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in microeconomic theory. The postdoc would interact with faculty and students working on game theory, mechanism design, general equilibrium theory, decision theory and other active areas of economic theory. The position is for one year, with the possibility of an extension to a second year if circumstances arise. Postdocs must be in residence during the academic year, and are expected to participate in seminars and regular research meetings. As an integral part of their postdoctoral training, postdocs may teach or co-teach a course.

Applicants should be within three years of receiving their PhD, and must have graduated by the time their appointment starts. A CV, Research Statement and three reference letters are required. CAMSE will start to review candidate materials on December 15, and applications are accepted until the position has been filled.
