Position Summary Guidelines: Clarkson University’s David D. Reh School of Business seeks to fill a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics position, beginning August 1, 2023. The successful candidate will hold an earned doctorate in economics or related discipline with the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate economics courses. ABD candidates nearing completion will be considered, with initial appointment at the rank of Instructor if Ph.D. is not completed by August 1, 2023.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled or withdrawn, but should be received by February 24 for full consideration. Screening interviews will be conducted via teleconferencing. The selected candidate is expected to contribute towards advancing Reh School’s mission and vision. The standard teaching load for this position is three courses per semester (i.e., 6 courses in an academic year) with no more than two preparations per semester. The selected candidate is also encouraged to produce impactful scholarship that advances the teaching and practice of economics.
Remote Workdays: This is a full time, on Campus, position with zero remote workdays.

Education:
Minimal Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics or similar field (ABD with completion by August 1, 2023 will be considered).
Experience:
Minimal Experience: The preferred candidate will have demonstrated significant work-related experience, as well as collegiate teaching experience.
