Job Description:
The Business Program is housed in the School of Business and Leadership and has programs that are nationally accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The department invites a full-time Assistant Professor of Economics, Tenure Track, to begin Fall 2023. Ideal candidates should be innovative, possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate the capacity to enhance our programs, have an excellent record of teaching and scholarship, and industry experience. Research specialization open. Interdisciplinary approaches to Economics welcome. We welcome research collaboration between economics faculty and other disciplines.
The candidate may teach a variety of courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, in the day/weekend programs, online, remote learning, hybrid, and/or fast track classes. Teaching on weekends may be required and is a condition of employment.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Economics or ABD with a doctorate being awarded no later than August 2023, or master's degree in related field with a least 18 hours of graduate economic courses. Teaching experience at the college level is required.
Preferred:
-Graduate level teaching experience
-Teaching experience in different modalities
-Teaching experience in diverse student environment
-Industry Experience
