Full-Time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer Position in public budgeting and financial management

The O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs (O’Neill) at Indiana University- Bloomington invites applications for a full-time, renewable, non-tenure track academic year appointment as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the general field of public budgeting and financial management. The successful applicant will be expected to teach courses in one or more of the following areas of public financial administration: public economics, public budgeting, accounting, political economy, fiscal sociology, and/or public financial management.

Qualifications include PhD or Master’s degree in economics, public administration, public affairs, business administration, law, political science, public policy or related field. Applicants possessing a master’s degree only must have significant prior professional experience in public budgeting and public financial management. We are especially interested in applicants with a record of successful teaching and mentoring of students from many backgrounds (including first- generation college students, low-income students, racial and ethnic minorities, women, LGBTQ, etc.). The expected start date is August 1, 2023.
