Seeking a full-time postdoctoral research associate to work on health and environmental research projects with Dr. David Molitor at the Center for Business and Public Policy (CBPP) at Gies College of Business, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). The position is funded by a National Institutes of Health grant to measure environmental impacts on human health. The candidate will work with grant collaborators, and will join a strong community of applied microeconomists at UIUC. Funding available for 2 years, conditional on NIH funding and satisfactory performance.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in economics or related field
- Advanced econometrics training
- Strong programming skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Medicare data
- Geospatial skills
Essential Functions:
- Research priorities set in conversation with Dr. Molitor and grant collaborators
- Analyze administrative Medicare data
- Contribute to grant goals, including grant-related public goods
- Participate in the intellectual life at Illinois Gies/CBPP
Location: Champaign, Illinois.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day, 35 hours/week.
