The University of Virginia’s Department of Economics seeks applications to fill a non-tenure-track teaching position, with responsibility for teaching four to six courses per year in some of the following areas: introductory and intermediate courses in microeconomics and macroeconomics and introductory econometrics.

This full- or part-time salaried position, at the rank of Assistant Professor, General Faculty, starts in the fall semester of 2023 for a term of no more than three years and may be renewable based on performance and continued availability of funding.

We seek candidates dedicated to our mission and passionate about teaching in a world class institution. Applicants must have a PhD or terminal degree in Economics or a related field at the time of application or to be awarded before Fall 2023.
