The Health Economics and Policy Division of the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow. The position fosters a multidisciplinary research and training environment in collaborations with local and state healthcare leaders and policy makers, and prepares fellows for positions in academia, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, consulting, or government. The position requires a recent doctorate in health economics, applied economics, health outcomes/services research, or public health with a focus on using experiments/controlled randomized trials to research health outcomes/services/programs. The candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills to direct the efforts of an outstanding, collegial faculty within a research-intensive academic health center.
Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree in health economics, applied economics, health outcomes/services research, or public health with a focus on health outcomes/services research from an accredited university. Prior research experience in health economics, systematic reviews and meta-analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, and/or health policy is desired. Anticipated start date is June 1, 2023
