The Congressional Budget Office is seeking a leader in health policy to fill the position of director in its Health Analysis Division. The division’s director collaborates with CBO’s senior managers to formulate and implement a strategic agenda for the division’s analytical work; works closely with the division’s other managers to oversee research and modeling; and oversees a division of about 30 people charged with the development of reports critical to health policy discussion. The position requires at least 10 years of relevant experience and an advanced degree in economics, health policy, or a related discipline. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required to be a leader of people and to work effectively with many stakeholders in the Congress, in the professional and academic communities, and within CBO.
