Benedictine College (BC) (Atchison, Kansas) seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Economics starting August 1, 2023. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or ABD in economics. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The essential function is to teach courses in economics, preferably macroeconomics. Typical course loads are 12 credit hours per semester. Number of courses and credit hours vary. The teaching load typically requires teaching 3-4 courses per semester. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to teaching excellence. Additional responsibilities include engagement in and service to the department, college, and community. The successful candidate will maintain a strong research agenda and broad teaching interests.
