NSPARC is a university research center that emphasizes workforce and economic development, but the diversity of expertise on our team means we cover a broad range of topics in education, economics, health, human services, and corrections.

We are located at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS, but those interested in telework or remote work options are encouraged to apply.

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher with a keen interest in conducting applied research in socio-economic fields. This position is the perfect fit for an individual that enjoys engaging in research that informs strategic decisions that address real-world problems.

This role involves developing the overall methodology for projects; recommending statistical methods; drafting proposals for extramural funding, research reports and briefs, and other publications; managing and analyzing data from multiple sources; applying business intelligence skills to transform large amount of data into useful information; working on multiple projects simultaneously; working effectively on multidisciplinary teams; meeting deadlines as agreed with our clients and partners; and performing other duties as assigned.
