The Department of Economics at Denison University invites applications for a full-time, two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position starting August 2023. Primary teaching responsibilities will include courses in introductory macroeconomics and introductory microeconomics. The teaching load for this position is 3/3. Strong candidates will demonstrate a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level and an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of a small residential liberal arts institution. The Department of Economics at Denison has fourteen full-time faculty members who appreciate diverse approaches to economics. The college and the department are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming community for students, faculty, and staff, and to mentoring our visiting faculty to be successful teachers, scholars, and colleagues as they progress in their careers.
